RASC News Agency: The leader of the Afghanistan Freedom Front recently expressed his views on the Taliban’s seizure of power, emphasizing that this is not a new issue for the country. Yasin Zia highlighted the historical pattern of political instability in Afghanistan, where successive political systems have been overthrown time and again. In an interview with the Russian newspaper “Nazavisimaya Gazeta,” he stated that the Taliban is currently engaged in a war with the Afghanistani people, leading to an increase in armed resistance against the group within the country.

Mr. Zia further criticized the current chaotic situation in Afghanistan, attributing it to the policies implemented by the illegitimate Taliban administration. He pointed out that the group has disregarded Afghanistan’s international obligations, including its membership in conventions on economic, social, and cultural rights. Moreover, he shed light on the plight of women under Taliban control, stating that they have been marginalized and excluded from the political and social fabric of Afghanistan society.

According to Yasin Zia, the Taliban’s presence has transformed Afghanistan into a breeding ground for terrorists, turning the country into a living nightmare and a virtual prison for its citizens. He lamented that the group’s actions have tarnished Afghanistan’s image, leaving it confused and isolated on the international stage. It is worth noting that these statements were made while the Freedom Front, led by Mr. Zia, was actively conducting covert operations against the Taliban in various provinces of the country.
