RASC News Agency: The European Union has recently unveiled its plans to extend financial assistance to Afghanistani refugees who are in the process of repatriation. This decision comes as neighboring countries, particularly Pakistan and Iran, intensify their efforts to expel Afghanistani immigrants. In an effort to provide support and alleviate the challenges faced by these returnees, the EU has earmarked a significant sum of 15 million euros, which will be allocated to the International Organization for Migration (IOM).

The EU delegation emphasized that these funds will be utilized to establish a secure and welcoming environment for the returnees, ensuring their access to the necessary support mechanisms. Collaborating closely with the International Organization for Migration in Afghanistan, the EU aims to achieve this objective. Notably, the announcement was made via social media channels by the EU delegation, demonstrating their commitment to keeping the public well-informed.

Conversely, the government of Pakistan has instituted a deadline, stipulating that all illegal immigrants, including Afghanistani nationals, must leave the country by November 1. Disturbing reports have emerged highlighting the arrest of a substantial number of unauthorized Afghanistani immigrants across various regions of Pakistan, along with the obliteration of their dwellings. These measures have sparked widespread criticism from both legal institutions and international migration organizations, who have repeatedly urged Pakistan to reconsider its decision.

The European Union has allocated a substantial sum of 15 million euros to support Afghanistani refugees returning to their homeland. These funds will be entrusted to the International Organization for Migration in Afghanistan, with the aim of establishing a sense of security and ensuring that the necessary support is readily available. Meanwhile, Pakistan’s government has imposed a November 1 deadline for all illegal immigrants, including Afghanistani nationals, to depart from the country—a decision that has garnered significant disapproval from legal institutions and international migration organizations.
