RASC News Agency: In the ongoing series of indiscriminate killings of civilians by Taliban insurgents in different provinces of the country, recent reports have confirmed the incident of a young boy being mercilessly showered with bullets by members of this extremist group. According to sources, the event took place in the province of Daykundi. On Monday, November 20th, Taliban insurgents forcibly removed the young boy from a passenger vehicle while he was traveling from the city of Nili, the capital of Daykundi province, towards his home in Khotal-e-Temzan. Once they had him in their grip, they unleashed a hail of gunfire upon him.
The victim has been identified as Musadiq Ghafari, a final-year university student in Kabul. He hailed from the Qakhor village in Patu district of Daykundi province. Musadiq was intercepted by Taliban insurgents on his way back home and was killed. The exact reasons and motives behind this cold-blooded killing have yet to be determined. The Taliban group in Daykundi province has not released any statements regarding this incident, leaving the community in shock and seeking justice for the young boy.
This incident is not isolated. It follows a growing pattern of the Taliban targeting unarmed civilians across various provinces. In previous reports, a man was similarly attacked in the Surma village of Nawar district in Ghazni province while he was en route to a mosque. It is important to note that since their takeover, the Taliban group has engaged in violent acts, especially towards individuals from non-Pashton ethnicities. They have systematically suppressed and tortured these individuals under various false pretexts in different provinces.
