RASC: According to the Ministry of Refugees and Returnees of the Taliban group, 26 Afghanistani citizens have released and returned to the country from the prisons of Quetta, Pakistan, yesterday, July 7.

The ministry said by publishing a newsletter that these people were imprisoned because they did not have legal documents and after being released, they returned to the country through the Spin Boldak border.

As well as, the Ministry of Migration has said that from July 4 to 6, 556 Afghanistani refugees living in Pakistan returned to the country through the Spin Boldak border in Kandahar province.

In the ministry’s newsletters, it is mentioned that 83 families including 537 people and 19 single people have returned to the country from Pakistan.

The ministry said that the returnees were introduced to the office of the International Organization for Migration after registering at the Immigration Department.

The ministry said that some of these people who were sick were treated by a health network free of charge.

According to this newsletter, the Norwegian Immigration Council has distributed a package of food to each of the returnees.

It should be noted that a large number of Afghanistani citizens fled to neighboring countries, especially Pakistan, for various reasons after political developments.

A large number of them were arrested and imprisoned in Pakistan for not having legal documents, and they were also arrested in Iran and returned to Afghanistan.
