Afghanistan Cricket Team has the Chance of Winning this Year’s World Cup

RASC: Graeme Swann; the former bowler of the British national cricket team says that the Afghanistan cricket team is likely to win this year’s World Cup.

Referring to the performance of Rashid Khan and Noor Ahmad in the IPL club games, this British bowler called them the “best duo” of bowlers.

In his interview, he said, “Every nation should envy India for its smooth bowlers. The only nation that should not be jealous is Afghanistan. Rashid Khan and Noor Ahmed are probably the best bowling duo in the world right now.

Swan added, “Afghanistan can win the World Cup.”

Rashid Khan and Noor Ahmed played for Gujarat Titans in IPL club matches and only these two have dismissed 30 players in a season. Swann believes that if these two bowlers continue their achievements, it is not unlikely that Afghanistan will defeat other teams in the World Cup.

Meanwhile, Afghanistan had not won any of its 9 games in the 2019 World Cup.
