RASC News Agency: Reports have emerged that the Taliban, across several provinces including Kabul, have arrested and executed eight individuals on charges of collaborating with the National Resistance Front and the Freedom Front. Credible sources confirm that these detainees were subjected to brutal torture prior to being executed by firing squad. The identities of three victims have been verified, with one source providing an image to media outlets that depicts clear signs of torture and gunshot wounds on the body. Two of the victims, identified as Noor Rahman and Sayed Akbar from the Said Khel district of Parwan province, were apprehended by the Taliban’s intelligence operatives. Another victim, Abdul Hakim, was arrested in Shahr-e-Naw, Kabul. According to sources, five additional individuals were detained and executed under similar circumstances.
In a particularly harrowing development, the Taliban reportedly stormed Abdul Hakim’s residence during his funeral ceremony on Sunday. Sources reveal that his family, including his wife and children, fled to an undisclosed location, fearing further persecution by the Taliban. The Taliban have thus far remained silent on these allegations. However, mounting evidence suggests that the group is orchestrating an ethnic cleansing campaign under the pretext of targeting armed opposition. Tajiks, in particular, have become the primary targets of such atrocities, frequently facing arbitrary arrests, torture, and executions under accusations of associating with the Resistance and Freedom Fronts.
Historically, Tajiks have demonstrated unwavering resistance to tyranny, colonialism, and both internal and external exploitation. This community has persistently opposed ethnic and religious despotism. Following Afghanistan’s fall to the Taliban, they once again rejected oppression and embraced the path of resistance.
