RASC News Agency: The Ministry of Education of the Taliban group said that 12,808 students, including girls, have been recruited in Islamic education centers in the past year.

This statistic was presented on Monday, August 21, in a program called “Accountability of the government to the nation” by the officials of this ministry.

They have announced the total number of people recruited in Islamic education centers in the past year as 36203 people.

Meanwhile, the Taliban group has built dozens of religious schools in different parts of the country after their domination over Afghanistan.

The Ministry of Education of the Taliban group announced in May last year that it will build a large jihadist school in the center of each province with a capacity of 1,000 students and in each districts from three to 10 religious schools.

At the same time, a large number of citizens of the country have expressed concern about the increase in Taliban Islamic educational centers in some provinces of the country, because it is said that the Taliban group recruits for themselves by teaching extremism courses in these schools.

Meanwhile, this group has increased the number of religious schools in different parts of the country since they dominated the country and converted many military institutions into religious schools.

It is said that in the present time, the university focuses more on extreme religious issues and not much attention is paid to authentic Islamic sciences and contemporary sciences.

This is despite the fact that since the Taliban regained control of the country, they have imposed many restrictions on girls’ education.
