RASC News Agency: Following the closure of the Afghanistan embassy in London, the Resistance Front has expressed deep concern regarding the potential shutdown of Afghanistan embassies across Europe. The front has declared its opposition to any agreements that would transfer these diplomatic missions to the Taliban. The Resistance Front warned that the closure of the embassy in London will have adverse consequences for Afghanistani migrants in these countries, exacerbating their difficulties.

In a statement released on Thursday, September 22, the front urged the protection of Afghanistan diplomatic missions, which it views as the last symbols of legitimacy of the former Afghanistan government. The front emphasized that the closure of these missions poses significant challenges for Afghanistani migrants in Europe. The statement further noted that closing these missions not only disrupts immigration and asylum processes but also intensifies the collective psychological trauma experienced by Afghanistanis as they attempt to integrate into host societies.

Recently, the Afghanistan embassy in London announced its closure following an order from the British government. The Resistance Front added in its statement: “Granting the Taliban access to these missions is a grave betrayal of the Afghanistani people, who have sought refuge from the oppression of this group.”

Simultaneously, Germany has begun correspondence with the Taliban’s Foreign Ministry. According to informed sources, Germany has requested that the Afghanistan embassy in Berlin engage with the Taliban. The Resistance Front, however, regards such engagement as a betrayal of the Afghanistani people and has warned that it will have severe consequences for them.
