RASC News Agency: The Afghanistan Freedom Front has announced that its forces, continuing their campaign against the Taliban, recently targeted a Taliban intelligence training center in Baghlan province. According to a statement released by the Afghanistan Freedom Front on Monday, July 1, this attack took place last night at a training center near the Karkar mining site on the outskirts of Pul-e Khumri city.
The statement from this anti-Taliban front reported that as a result of this attack in Baghlan province, two Taliban members were killed and three others were injured. According to the statement, the Taliban use this center to train cross-border terrorist groups, including Uighurs from China and militants from Central Asia.
The Afghanistan Freedom Front further mentioned in its statement that its forces also attacked Taliban members in Kabul city last night. The front stated that this attack targeted a Taliban checkpoint in the Bagh Bala area, resulting in the deaths of three Taliban members and injuries to another.
Local Taliban officials in Baghlan and Kabul provinces have not yet commented on these attacks by the Afghanistan Freedom Front. According to published reports, the Taliban typically do not comment on attacks by opposing fronts and dismiss the activities of these groups.
