Taliban Execute Drug Addict in Daykundi

RASC News Agency: Local sources in Daykundi province report that the Taliban executed a drug addict in the provincial capital. Sources told the media on Monday, June 3, that the incident occurred the previous day in the New Nili Township during a roundup of drug addicts.

 

According to these sources, the drug addict died from gunshot wounds inflicted by the Taliban. The identity of the victim has not yet been confirmed, and the Taliban in Daykundi have not commented on the incident. The Taliban have been conducting operations to round up drug addicts in various provinces, including Kabul.

 

There have been prior reports of the Taliban’s extremely violent treatment of drug addicts. Additionally, in some provinces, the Taliban have reportedly killed drug addicts.
