RASC News Agency: The Afghanistan Freedom Front has reported the demise of nine members of the Taliban group as a result of several separate attacks conducted by its forces on Taliban strongholds in the provinces of Kabul and Baghlan. According to a press release disseminated by the Afghanistan Freedom Front on the social media platform X, these assaults took place on Sunday night, Feb 18.
As outlined in the press release by the Afghanistan Freedom Front, its forces launched an offensive on a Taliban outpost in the “Panjshirwat” area, within the jurisdiction of the eleventh security district of Kabul, resulting in the death of at least four members of the group, with two others sustaining injuries. Per the Afghanistan Freedom Front’s statement, Taliban members stationed at this outpost had targeted a civilian vehicle under the guise of inspection the previous week, resulting in the loss of life of several youths.
Additionally, the Afghanistan Freedom Front stated that following another attack, its forces targeted a Taliban outpost in the “Charrah-i-Gul Surkh” area, within the jurisdiction of the fourth security district of Kabul, resulting in the death of three Taliban members and injury to two others. Simultaneously, the Afghanistan Freedom Front disclosed that its forces assaulted a Taliban outpost in the “Baghmadan” area situated in the Pul-i-Khumri city of Baghlan province, resulting in the demise of two Taliban members and injury to another.
Thus far, the Taliban has not commented on these assaults by the Afghanistan Freedom Front. It is noteworthy that earlier, the Afghanistan Freedom Front had claimed that as a result of its forces’ attack on a Taliban outpost in Kabul city, two Taliban members were killed, and three others were injured in the confrontation.
