RASC News Agency: Quoting local sources from Balkh province, amidst recent mysterious killings, the body of a man from the jurisdiction of the eighth district of Mazar-e-Sharif, the capital of this province, has been discovered. Sources informed the media that the body was found this morning, Thursday, Mar 7, inside a “Sack” in the Dasht-e-Shor area of Mazar-e-Sharif city.

According to sources, the victim’s identity has not been precisely determined, and after initial investigations, the Taliban group transferred the body to the Abu Ali Sina District Hospital in Balkh. Local Taliban officials in Balkh province have not yet commented on the discovery of this body. This comes as, following the Taliban’s control over the country, the rate of criminal activities, especially mysterious and targeted killings, kidnappings, and armed robberies, has increased in various parts of the country.

Many of these killings in various provinces of the country have been attributed to “unidentified armed individuals” and have never been identified or punished. This news comes at a time when the Taliban have consistently claimed, after their takeover of the country, that there is overall security nationwide, and people’s lives and property are safe.
