RASC News Agency: Farid Mamond Zai, the former Afghanistan ambassador to India, has levied grave allegations against certain employees who have remained at the embassy, asserting that they are serving the interests of the Taliban group. According to Mamond Zai, there are no Afghanistani diplomats remaining in India, and those present are aligned with the Taliban, actively pursuing their agenda. This revelation raises significant concerns about the loyalty and intentions of the remaining embassy staff.

In addition to these accusations, Mamond Zai has underscored the involvement of specific former Afghanistani diplomats aligned with Ashraf Ghani’s faction. He suggests that efforts are underway to downplay the truth and undermine the contributions of these former diplomats in light of the current crisis. Mamond Zai contends that those collaborating with the Taliban seek to weaken the position of their predecessors.

To substantiate his claims, Mamond Zai has released photographs of two individuals, Zakia and Ibrahim Khil, purportedly participating in Taliban meetings and receiving guidance from them. The attendance of Taliban foreign minister Mawlawi Amir Khan Muetaqi, acknowledged by various countries, including Russia, China, and several European and Arab nations, in these meetings further underscores Mamond Zai’s concerns about the activities of the remaining embassy staff.

It is crucial to note that the Afghanistan embassy in India officially closed on November 23, citing ongoing challenges with the Indian government. The embassy cited the necessity for favorable policy changes to ensure the normal functioning of its mission. Reports suggest that the recent message from Ghani-appointed diplomats specifically targeted those collaborating with and working for the Taliban, criticizing the remaining staff and questioning their capabilities and contributions to the embassy’s work.
