RASC News Agency: Local sources in Panjshir have recently reported the arrest of five residents of Pujawa village in the province by the Taliban group. According to these sources, the Taliban members arrived in Pujawa area on Wednesday, October 25, and forcibly took several individuals from the village. The arrested persons have been identified as Nadir Shah, Ahmad Farid, Shams Rahman, Fazal Rabi, and Sirajuddin. The sources further revealed that the Taliban used violence during the arrests and subjected the detainees to severe torture. This incident adds to the growing number of arbitrary arrests and killings carried out by the Taliban in Panjshir province and other parts of Afghanistan since they assumed power.
In a separate incident, the Taliban group shot four young individuals from Panjshir province at a checkpoint in Kabul on the same day. This act of violence follows a pattern of targeted attacks on the residents of Panjshir, with reports indicating that ten people were recently arrested from Abdullah Khil Panjshir valley and subsequently taken to undisclosed locations. It is important to note that the Taliban’s reign of terror in Afghanistan has resulted in the widespread arrest and execution of numerous individuals across different provinces, particularly in Panjshir province.
