A Young Girl Dies by Suicide in Ghazni

RASC News Agency: Local sources from Ghazni province report that a young girl in the province has died by suicide. On Wednesday, May 1, sources told the media that the girl hanged herself the previous night in the village of Gadol in Qarabagh district of Ghazni.

The exact reason for the young girl’s suicide remains unclear, and the incident has been confirmed by local Taliban officials in Ghazni. Since the Taliban took control of the country, suicide rates among citizens, particularly women, girls, and young people in various provinces, have significantly increased due to multiple factors.

In an earlier case, local Taliban officials from Kunduz province reported that a young man named Samiullah died by suicide in District 4 of the city, in Alokozay village, due to mental health issues. Economic difficulties, mental health disorders, lack of access to medical care, lack of access to education, family violence, and other factors have been cited as reasons for suicides among citizens.
