RASC News Agency: Local sources in Panjshir province report the arrest of Mohammad Ayub, the principal of Rukha high school, by the intelligence forces of the Taliban group in this province.
Sources tell the media that this school principal was arrested on Friday, August 18 after a verbal tension with Mawlawai Seyed Padshah, who is a resident of Logar province and a close relative of the Taliban governor for Panjshir.
According to the sources, Mawlawai Seyyed Padshah called the people of Panjshir “irreligious” during the Friday prayer sermon at the “Qabzan” mosque, and his words were met with the reaction of Mohammad Ayoub and a number of local residents.
Sources say: “Mawlawi Seyyed Padshah came to Qabzan mosque to preach, and during his preaching he said that no preaching has ever been done in this pulpit of the mosque. His aim was that the people of Panjshir are irreligious, and his statements angered Mohammad Ayoub, the principal of Rukha high school, and a number of other residents, and caused the disruption of Friday prayers, after which the Taliban arrested the Ayoub on Friday evening.
The Taliban group has not said anything about this so far.
Earlier, some residents of Panjshir confirmed that the Taliban called the residents of this province as “irreligious”.
It should be mentioned that since the Taliban took over Afghanistan, they have arrested hundreds of Panhshir residents under different pretexts and in some cases killed them.
Not long ago, public sources in Panjshir province said that a resident of this province named “Abdul Habib” who was arrested by the Taliban group last year, his clothes were handed over to his family and they were told that he died in prison.
According to these sources, Abdul Habib was a resident of “Faraj” village and before he was arrested by the Taliban group, he worked as a security guard at an emergency hospital in Panjshir province.
