According to the announcement of the United Nations, this campaign is going to be launched with the cooperation of Samia Farooqi, the former captain of the Afghanistani girls’ robotics team, and with the artworks of a young Afghanistani female artist.
These works of art include heartbreaking and determined testimonies of Afghanistani girls whose lives fell apart due to the Taliban group preventing them from continuing their education.
Mrs. Farooqi said: “The courage of the girls in Afghanistan gives me the strength to raise my voice to strengthen their voice to the world.”
According to her, the deprivation of Afghanistani girls from education has led to an increase in mental problems and cases of suicide among them.
