RASC News Agency: Marshal Abdul Rashid Dostum, the former Vice President of Afghanistan, has declared his readiness to combat ISIS in Afghanistan. On Sunday, March 24th, Marshal Dostum conveyed in an audio message that the base of operatives behind the Moscow attacks exists in Afghanistan.
Dostum added, “Whether it’s Al-Qaeda or ISIS, or if they have Taliban support,” asserting his readiness to suppress this group. Referencing the bombings in Shiraz and Moscow, Marshal stated that the masterminds and attackers find refuge in Afghanistan and receive training there.
Mr. Dostum underscored in his audio message that no one should fall for the “Taliban’s deception,” emphasizing that the Taliban itself is a terrorist network and supports terrorists. The former Vice President of Afghanistan mentioned the conflicts of the 1990s, stating that in 2001, they brought Al-Qaeda to “justice” in northern Afghanistan.
He added that at that time, Mullah Fazl, the Deputy Minister of Defense of the Taliban group, and the Minister of Intelligence and Culture of the Taliban group, were among the 15,000 fighters who were captives under him. It is worth noting that alongside Marshal Dostum, Sayed Tayeb Jawad, former Ambassador of Afghanistan to Moscow, and other anti-Taliban politicians have pointed out the recent events in Russia, revealing the presence of ISIS bases in Afghanistan.
