Self- Destruction of a Young Girl in Jawzjan Province

RASC: According to public sources in Jawzjan province, a young girl committed suicide in Aqcha district of this province.

Sources said that this incident happened around 12:00 noon, on Thursday, July 22, in “Teba” village of Aqcha district.

Sources say that this 20-year-old girl committed suicide in her home with a bladed weapon.

The security officials of the Taliban group in Aqcha district of Jawzjan have confirmed this incident.

Hafiz Mohiuddin, the commander of the field investigation of the Taliban’s security command in this district, said that the investigation in this direction is ongoing.

They say that the initial investigation shows that the girl committed suicide due to mental illness.

It should be mentioned that not long ago, on June 13 of this year, a girl hanged herself in her home in “Shor Tapa” village of Aqcha district and ended her life.

Based on statistics, suicide incidents among teenagers, young people and women have increased in all parts of the country.

 The main reasons for these suicides are poverty, unemployment, family problems, depression and mental illnesses in the country.

After the Taliban domination in the country, suicides among deprived parts of the people increased in the country as per the mentioned reasons.
