Arrest of 40 Residents of Khawaja Omari District of Ghazni by the Taliban group RASC News Agency: According to local sources from Ghazni province, following the death of the head of intelligence management of the Taliban group, this group has arrested at least 40 civilians. Sources have said that the head of intelligence management of the Taliban group in Khawaja Omari district of this province was killed by armed men a few days ago and now the Taliban group has imprisoned and tortured at least 40 civilians in this district. Sources told the media today, Thursday, August 10, that this number of civilians, who are residents of Qalae Now village in this district, were arrested and imprisoned by this group this week. According to the sources, the jailers of the Taliban group brutally beat the detained people every day. The sources added that the efforts of the local elders to free these people from the Taliban group were unsuccessful. The local officials of the Taliban group in Ghazni province have not yet said anything about this. Meanwhile, the head of intelligence management of the Taliban group in Khawaja Omari district was killed last Friday night after gunmen fired in this district and a member of his family was also injured.
