RASC News Agency: Turkish authorities announced that the bloodied body of a 24-year-old Afghanistani refugee was recently discovered in the city of Konya. According to a police statement released on Thursday, April 25, initial investigations indicate that the refugee died after his motorcycle lost control and collided with a stone.

The police statement from Konya identified the Afghanistani refugee as Mohibullah Rahmani and noted that his body was found near a farm in the Karatay district of Konya. Preliminary police investigations suggest that he was injured in the crash, but he succumbed to his injuries because he was not transported to the hospital in time.

Meanwhile, Konya police announced that the investigation into the case is ongoing and that further inquiries will be conducted regarding the incident. Many Afghanistani citizens have migrated to neighboring and regional countries due to decades of conflict and war in their home country, and this number has significantly increased following the Taliban’s takeover.

However, in recent months, host countries for Afghanistani refugees, particularly Iran and Pakistan, have started deporting these migrants in large numbers, expelling dozens of individuals daily.
