RASC News Agency: In conjunction with the increasing traffic incidents in various provinces of the country, sources from Kapisa province have recently reported the death and injury of two individuals as a result of a traffic incident in the city of Nijrab, in this province. Sources from Kapisa province stated on Monday, November 20th, that this traffic incident occurred during the evening in the “Bazaar Shirowani” area of Nijrab city. According to sources, the incident occurred when a speeding motorbike collided with a pedestrian, causing the motorbike to veer off the road and overturn.

Sources further add that this traffic incident occurred due to the driver’s negligence. It should be noted that prior to this incident, traffic incidents in various provinces of the country have resulted in fatalities, injuries, and disabilities for a number of individuals. It is worth mentioning that recently, traffic incidents have significantly increased in a number of provinces of the country due to various reasons, occasionally leading to fatalities.

In the recent incident, four individuals lost their lives and six others were injured as a result of several traffic incidents in Badghis, Nangarhar, and Bamyan provinces. According to experts, driver negligence, road damage and lack of standards, failure to comply with traffic laws, difficult-to-navigate routes, and also some drivers’ unfamiliarity with the roads are major reasons that occasionally lead to traffic incidents. Furthermore, it is notable that due to decades-long conflict between the previous government forces and the Taliban group in various provinces of the country, infrastructure, especially roads and highways, have suffered serious damages.
