RASC News Agency: Former President Hamid Karzai held a meeting with Dmitry Zhirinovsky, the Russian ambassador to Kabul, to discuss the prevailing situation in Afghanistan amidst the Taliban’s control. In an eloquently crafted press release, Karzai’s office underscored his unwavering belief in the paramount importance of reestablishing access to education for girls as a critical catalyst for Afghanistan’s promising future.

The statement also accentuated Karzai’s ardent endorsement of the National Accord as an indispensable instrument in guaranteeing sustainable peace and enduring stability in Afghanistan, underscoring its indispensability in achieving a prosperous nation. It is noteworthy that, on several occasions, former President Hamid Karzai has fervently advocated for the reopening of educational institutions and the removal of impediments to girls’ education in dialogues with international dignitaries.

Meanwhile, it is essential to acknowledge that, following their ascendancy, the Taliban has imposed a myriad of constraints on Afghanistani women, including sweeping limitations on their professional and academic pursuits. These actions have engendered vehement domestic and international responses, as has been widely reported. However, the group has thus far exhibited no signs of flexibility.

According to credible reports, the Taliban has detained, subjected to torture, and incarcerated Afghanistani women who have actively protested against these repressive measures in various provinces. just this Wednesday, a woman participating in a demonstration in Kabul province was apprehended. Substantiated information reveals that the Taliban authorities have responded ruthlessly and oppressively to women’s protests in numerous regions, resorting to violent and reprehensible conduct against them.
