RASC News Agency: Local sources in Panjshir province said that the wages of 500 workers who built military bases for the Taliban group have not been paid.
Sources say that the contractor who signed the contract to build the military bases of the Taliban group told the workers that he had lost money and had no money to pay them.
A source explained that this person’s name is Mohammad Manaf and he is a resident of Helmand province. According to the source, this man received money from the Taliban group; but he said that he has no money because he lost in the project.
A number of workers have told local sources that Mohammad Manaf has about 300,000 the country currency left from the workers’ wages.
One of the workers in Shotol district says: “All the money I had at home was used in the construction of the shell (military bases) of the Taliban group, and I am in debt to the patriots for the cost of transporting stones and water to build the shell. 80,000 of the country currency remains with the Taliban group.
Meanwhile, another worker, who does not want to be named, says that he has been working for three months in a row to build checkpoints in Annaba, but he has not received his salary.
He also adds that he complained to the governor of the Taliban group in Panjshir, but he did not receive anything.
According to sources, the Taliban group has built nearly a thousand checkpoints in parts of Panjshir last year.
These outposts are mostly located in the parts close to the mountains.
It should be noted that after the Taliban took control of Afghanistan, this group does not pay attention to the complaints of the people, especially the people of Panjshir.
