RASC News Agency: The National Resistance Council for the Salvation of Afghanistan, in reaction to an announcement by the Taliban about changing the country constitution, said that this group does not have the right to change the constitution.

This council said yesterday, September 22, that the Taliban group has no legitimacy, therefore, they lack the right and competence to draft and change the constitution.

Based on the Council of Resistance, the Taliban extremist group, with a terrorist viewpoint, intends to change the constitution approved in Afghanistan and replace it with the constitution of the Taliban group.

This council said that the constitution as a guarantee and national trust forms the basis of the legislation of any country and is a guarantee to protect the rights of citizens, and making changes to it requires the existence of a legitimate system, which currently Afghanistan does not have.

The Afghanistan National Resistance Council added that the decision to tamper with the Afghanistan constitution in the current situation by “illegitimate rule” cannot be justified.

Based on the statements of the National Resistance Council, this action is an attempt to strengthen and legitimize terrorist and extremist acts by the Taliban group.

At the same time, this council has accused the Taliban group of monopolizing power, adding that this group has put the policy of discrimination and exclusion against Afghanistan ethnic groups, especially Shiites, on their agenda.

This council consisting of the heads of the previous government added that the Taliban group, in their latest action, prevented the presence of Jafari and Ismaili religious scholars in the country scholars Council, which is an unfair and immoral thing.

The National Resistance Council made these statements while it is said that the Taliban group is planning to replace the new constitution of Afghanistan.
