RASC News Agency: The World Food Program (WFP) has announced that they will be forced to cut aids to millions of people if the requested aid is not available.

Wahidullah Amani, the spokesman of the World Food Program in Afghanistan, said that one billion dollars is needed in the next six months to take care of the needy in Afghanistan.

In a warning, the spokesperson of the World Food Program in Afghanistan said that if the requested aid does not reach them, the aid will be cut off for millions. We need it, which includes providing aid to the neediest people in the upcoming winter.”

Based on the statistics published by the United Nations, the number of needy people in Afghanistan has increased to more than 29.2 million.

At the same time, the World Food Program said, “Afghanistan is among the countries whose people do not have access to enough food, and this hunger is caused by the economic crisis that occurred after the Taliban took over the country in August 2021.”

After the domination of the Taliban group in Afghanistan, poverty and unemployment have spread in this country. The restrictions of the Taliban group on the work of women and girls have increased the humanitarian crisis and hunger in Afghanistan.

At the same time, the aid process decreased in Afghanistan after that, first in December of last year and then in April of this year, the Taliban group banned female employees from working in all non-governmental institutions, including the United Nations offices, and said, until further notice in stay at home
