RASC News Agency: In the wake of a surge in criminal activities, particularly a spate of enigmatic and calculated murders across various provinces of the nation, recent reports from reliable sources reveal the demise of a 24-year-old individual in the heart of Nimroz province. As per information disclosed by sources within Nimroz province, unidentified assailants targeted and fatally shot this young man at approximately 6:30 a.m. on Thursday, December 21st, within the first district of Zaranj city, the provincial epicenter.

The victim, identified as “Yar Gul,” reportedly had no known personal conflicts, as attested by the sources. The motive behind the murder of this young man remains shrouded in uncertainty, and the perpetrators responsible for his demise have yet to be apprehended. Furthermore, the Taliban group in Nimroz province has maintained a conspicuous silence in response to this incident, notwithstanding the alarming surge in criminal activities, particularly mysterious and targeted murders, across various provinces of the country.

In the latest chapter of criminal offenses, three individuals met their demise in separate incidents in Nangarhar province. It is imperative to highlight the apparent absence of dedicated institutions for investigating such cases and apprehending those responsible for these acts. Reports suggest that, in previous instances of mysterious and targeted murders, as well as armed robberies, individuals have implicated members of the Taliban group, accusing them of engaging in criminal activities and attributing them to unknown perpetrators.

Contrary to the Taliban group’s claims of ensuring nationwide security post their takeover, statistical reports paint a different picture. In a preceding incident, unidentified armed individuals abducted a merchant from his residence in Nangarhar province. These incidents underscore the compelling need for robust measures to address the escalating crime rates and bring the perpetrators to justice.
