RASC: The local administration of the Taliban group in Helmand has announced the construction of a large mosque on the Kandahar-Herat highway.
According to Bakhtar’s report, this mosque is supposed to be built in Yakhchal area, Gereshk district, Helmand province.
The governor of Helmand said that this mosque will have a study hall and a separate place for women.
The governor of Helmand added that with the cooperation of national traders, 12 mosques have been built on this highway and the number of these mosques is expected to increase.
It should be mentioned that since the Taliban group have dominated the country, they have not only started building mosques, but also converted some office buildings and even the offices of some government departments into mosques.
Also, the Taliban group uses the buildings of a number of government offices in some provinces as religious schools.
At the same time, the more attention of the Taliban group on the construction of mosques and religious schools in different parts of the country has increased concerns about the promotion of extremism and extremist tendencies in Afghanistan.
Before this, many reports were published from different parts of the country regarding the fact that religious subjects are not taught to students in religious schools, but they are made into a soldier for themselves in these schools.
At the same time, these concerns have also been raised regarding some university courses, and there is also the fear that students will become religious extremists or suicide bombers instead of becoming doctors and teachers.
Before this, during the previous government, hundreds of mosque doors were reconstructed or rebuilt.
