RASC: The Islamic Development Bank has announced that it has collected 32 million Dollars in aid for the people of Afghanistan in various sectors.

This bank said that these donations were collected after the creation of an aid fund to support the people of Afghanistan in this bank, which will be used in the health, drinking water and education sectors.

Mohammad Ben Jamal Saati, the special advisor of this bank, said on Friday, August July 28, that the Islamic Development Bank has confirmed that the bank has collected nearly 32 million Dollars in humanitarian aid for Afghanistan.

The Islamic Development Bank and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation have stated that these donations will be delivered to the Afghanistan Red Crescent Hospital, where children suffering from heart diseases are treated.

The representatives of these institutions have also informed about the continuation of aid for the people of Afghanistan in addition to the hospital in other sectors such as education and health.

Meanwhile, the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) has said in its latest report that in 2023, about 29.2 million people in Afghanistan need humanitarian aid.

However, UNICEF has said that Afghanistan is still facing crises such as drought, floods, insecurity, political and economic instability, and displacement.

It should be mentioned that during the last week, the deadly floods in the country caused heavy loss of life and money to the people. On the other hand, the Taliban group did not pay attention to these people and these people are facing to critical financial challenges.
