RASC: A number of Kabul residents have criticized the long-term electricity bills and say that recently the electricity bills have increased and caused a lot of problems for residents.

Breshna Company confirms this news and says that the reason for excessive electricity bills is excessive use of electricity.

A number of residents say that in the last few days, people in many areas of the city have faced many problems due to the permanent power outages.

Ahmad Zia, a resident of Kabul, says: “The electricity bills have increased too much after Eid al-Adha. On the one hand, the air is hot and on the other, there is no electricity.

A number of other residents of Kabul also complain about this situation and say: “They provide electricity whenever they feel like it, if not, nothing!” “We have limited electricity for a few hours and the weather is very hot, and Breshna Company should pay special attention to solving this problem.”

Hekmatullah Maiwandi, the speaker of the head of Breshna, in his talks about power outages, says that the reason for these power outages is the hot weather and excessive use of electrical equipment in the country.

Although the authorities believe that the reason for the power shortages is the excessive use of electricity in the hot season, but according to some economic experts, the lack of electricity in Afghanistan is a serious problem that has not been solved so far.

According to them, if the country’s surface water is managed, large power generation dams will be built and Afghanistan’s dependence on imported electricity will be reduced.
