RASC: According to local sources in Paktika province, the residents of this province have started the construction of a two- elementary school building from their personal expense of the people.

The construction work of these schools has started on Sunday, June 11, in “Park” village of Yahyakhil and Omna districts of this province.

It should be mentioned that the cost of these school buildings are estimated to be around 500,000 Kabuli/Afghani rupees, which the residents of these districts pay.

One of the local residents says that each of these schools has three classrooms and an office room, which will provide education for about 200 male and female students.

Based on the statistics, more than half of the schools in Paktika Province are without building and the students are taught in the open air or in temporary buildings.

It should be mentioned that after the Taliban regained control in the country, this group did not pay attention to the establishment of schools and the people were forced to prepare the field of education for their children.
