RASC: According to local sources in Ghor province, as a result of the conflict over the Yamah factory in this province, the Taliban killed one person and injured another person.
According to the sources, around 3:00 pm on Saturday, July 15, the Taliban group in Barkhol area of Dolina district, when they wanted to set fire to a Yamah factory, faced opposition from its owners.
Sources say that as a result of this conflict, Taliban fighters killed one person and injured another person.
However, a source from the Taliban group in Ghor said that they wanted to set fire to a narcotic factory, but they were opposed by the people of the area and a conflict broke out.
It is said that yamah (Oman) is one of the mountain plants that was abundantly available in Ghor province and it is used in the production of Methamphetamine-type drugs.
This is despite the fact that the Taliban group had started the production of narcotics from the yamah plant in Ghor province before taking control of Afghanistan, and they were getting money from the smuggling of this plant.
At the same time, the United Nations recently reported that Afghanistan is one of the largest producers of methamphetamine drugs in the region and the world.
