RASC: According to the local officials of the Taliban group in Nangarhar, heavy rains and floods in Hesarak district of this province have killed two people and caused huge financial losses to the residents of this district.

The Department of Information and Culture under the control of the Taliban group said in a statement that on Monday, July 3, heavy rains and floods in the village of “Khangi” in Hesark district led to the death of a man and a woman and destroyed at least 210 acres of agricultural land.

It is stated in the announcement that the flood has destroyed 14 agricultural water supply channels and 30 water storage dams in Hesarak district.

The affected residents of this district want the Taliban group and international aid organizations to cooperate with them.

This is despite the fact that a few days ago, the flood had caused casualties and financial losses in this district.

Before this, Parwan and Kapisa provinces also witnessed floods.
