Registration of 13 Cases of Chicken Pox in Panjshir

RASC: According to the health officials in Panjshir province, 13 suspected cases of chicken pox have been registered in this province.

According to the officials, most of the infected with this virus are the students of Noor Abdara religious school in Annaba district of Panjshir.

The officials added that a medical team of the Public Health Department has been sent to Panjshir to investigate these cases.

Chicken pox is one of the viruses caused by infection with Varicella zoster virus (VZV).

This viral disease causes a skin rash that starts with small, itchy blisters and eventually turns into a pimple. Itching is one of the early symptoms of this virus.
