RASC News Agency: Yesterday, September 2, an explosion occurred in the Darulaman area of Kabul (near the Attorney General’s Office), killing a significant number of government employees and young citizens. Sources indicate that all the victims were employees of the previous government and non-Taliban individuals. Taliban sources report that six people, all residents of Badakhshan province, were killed in the blast.
The victims include:
Dr. Hujjatullah Mirzayee, A university professor, writer, and social activist, Dr. Mirzayee hailed from Darwaz district in Badakhshan and held a PhD. Layla Basim, a women’s rights activist from Badakhshan, mentioned that Dr. Mirzayee worked in a specialized department within the Attorney General’s Office and also taught at a private university in the country. He obtained his PhD from Iran and served as the Vice Chancellor of Academics at the private “Khana Noor” University.
Ahmad Amin Nasiryar, According to sources, Nasiryar was an employee of the Attorney General’s Office during the previous government and continued his work in this department after the Taliban took over. The Taliban have renamed the Attorney General’s Office to the Directorate of Monitoring and Pursuit of Decrees and Orders. Nasiryar was also from Kishm district in Badakhshan. A Facebook user mentioned that Ahmad Amin Nasiryar was the son of Mohammad Amin Nasiryar, the former Minister of Hajj and Religious Affairs of Afghanistan.
Elhamuddin Yameen, A resident of Baharak district in Badakhshan, Yameen was a law graduate. One of his friends noted that he had been employed by the Attorney General’s Office during the republic. Elhamuddin Yameen was the son of Amraldin Yameen, a prosecutor in the previous government.
Wahidullah Noori, Reportedly, he was an employee of the Attorney General’s Office and originally from Baharak district in Badakhshan.
Khairuddin Mazhari, A resident of Faizabad in Badakhshan, Mazhari had studied law and political science. Among the six Badakhshani victims of the Darulaman explosion, the identity of one remains unknown. In addition to these victims from Badakhshan, several others killed in the incident were also from the same province.
Khalid Zadran, the Taliban’s police spokesperson in Kabul, stated that six people, including a woman, were killed in the Darulaman explosion. He added that 13 others were injured in the blast.
However, a medical source reported that the death toll had risen to eight, with the identities of two victims yet to be confirmed. The source mentioned that some bodies were burned beyond recognition. A prosecutor in the department, who wished to remain anonymous, confirmed that all the victims and injured were from Badakhshan. Sources say that the attack targeted employees of the Attorney General’s Office, which the Taliban have renamed the Directorate of Monitoring and Pursuit of Decrees and Orders.
Since the Taliban took control of the country, this is not the first time they have carried out mysterious bomb attacks, killing dozens of former government employees. A credible source claims that the Taliban have plans to eliminate former employees from government offices through such attacks.
