RASC: According to local sources in Zabul and Herat provinces, two people committed suicide in these provinces.

In the first incident, a 38-year-old man hanged himself on Sunday, June 11,  in the area of Qalat city.

At the same time, sources in Herat province also confirm that a young boy hanged himself on Saturday night, June 11, in “Mahl Dasht” area of Gozereh district of this province.

The identity of both victims and the motive of these suicides are not clear.

The local officials of the Taliban in Herat and Zabul have not said anything about these events.

It should be noted that since the resumption of Taliban rule over the country, the number of suicides among young people and adults has increased due to economic and family problems.

It should be noted that at least 25 people, including 13 women and 12 men, have committed suicide in different provinces of the country in the last month.
