A Young Man Drowned in Sarda Dam of Ghazni

RASC: Security officials in Ghazni say that a young man died due to drowning in the Sarda dam of this province.

This young man’s name is Mohammad Nazir and he drowned and died while swimming in this dam last evening.

Khalid Sarhadhi, the spokesperson of the Ghazni security command, says that this young man was a resident of Muhajirin Town of the Ghazni city.  

The spokesperson of the Ghazni Security Command adds that the body of this young man was pulled out of the water by the security forces and after being transferred to the hospital, it was handed over to his relatives.

It should be mentioned that during the last three months, several residents of Ghazni, most of them young people, have died while swimming in this dam.

Sarda dam is one of the big water dams in Andar district of Ghazni.
