RASC: Local sources in Baghlan province confirm that unknown gunmen in this province killed a Kurash sportsman.

The body of this athlete, whose name was Azadul Haq, was found on Thursday, June 8, from the second district of Pul Khomri city.

Azadul Haq, who was also a member of the Kurash national team of the country, was kidnapped 10 days ago from the fifth road area of Baghlan sugar factory.

This athlete also had a gold medal in judo and was one of the famous wrestlers of Baghlan.

The motive of this incident has not yet been determined.

No person or group has taken responsibility for his murder.

Taliban security officials have not said anything about this yet.

This is despite the fact that the number of criminal incidents and targeted killings has increased after the Taliban regained control over the country.

Yesterday, the bodies of two women were found in Faryab as well.
