Parties involved in Afghanistan and high-ranking officials of Western countries are supposed to hold a meeting about Afghanistan this month in Oslo, the capital of Norway.
In a report, the Pakistani newspaper “Nation” today called the current crisis in Afghanistan and the non-fulfillment of the Taliban’s promises to the international community among the important issues of this meeting.
I don’t know if this meeting will be held in the framework of the annual meeting of “Oslo Forum” with the topics of conflict prevention and peaceful resolution of conflicts like in the past, or if another special meeting is planned.
On the other hand, the Pakistani newspaper “Express Tribune” wrote that Hina Rabbani Kahar, the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs of Pakistan, will participate in this meeting.
Although many details of the content of this meeting have not been made public, except Lana Zaki Nasibah, the permanent representative of the United Arab Emirates to the United Nations, told the media last week. That the situation in Afghanistan is still bad and the Security Council and its member states have a clear and unified position in They are concerned with the issue of women’s rights in Afghanistan, and therefore the Security Council is also supposed to hold a special meeting on this issue.
The Taliban group and Norway have not said anything about this yet.
