RASC News Agency: Emerging reports from Dushanbe , the capital of Tajikistan have shed light on a shocking incident involving Manib Amiri, the commander of the National Resistance Front’s commandos in the capital city of Tajikistan. The incident, which unfolded on Wednesday, October 18th, took place at the distinguished residence of Mr. Amiri, but fortunately, the assailant’s bid to assassinate him was foiled.

Sources indicate that during this audacious attack, one member of the National Resistance Front sustained injuries, further heightening the gravity of the situation. The assailant responsible for this act of aggression had infiltrated the security measures in place, skillfully navigating their way into Mr. Amiri’s domain. However, swift action from the Tajikistan security forces led to the prompt apprehension of the attacker, preventing potential further harm.

It is noteworthy to mention that Manib Amiri, driven by an unwavering spirit, decided to relocate to Panjshir following the Taliban’s resurgence in Afghanistan on August 15, 2021. Undeterred in his pursuit of justice, Mr. Amiri continued to lead the charge against the Taliban, fiercely opposing their oppressive regime.

Prior to the Taliban’s swift takeover of Kabul, Mr. Amiri held the esteemed post of commanding the 3rd Brigade within the revered 209th Shaheen Corps in the northern region of Afghanistan. His unwavering commitment and formidable leadership role during this period exemplified his dedication to safeguarding the nation.

Following the Taliban’s ascension to power, a significant number of former government soldiers, including the remarkable Mr. Amiri, were forced to flee their homeland, seeking refuge in neighboring countries. This mass exodus of experienced military personnel undoubtedly left a profound void within Afghanistan’s defense forces.
