RASC: Local sources in Jawzjan province say that a middle-aged man in this province died under the torture of a Taliban fighter.

This event happened on Saturday, May 13, in Shirmango village, Darzab city, Jawzjan province.

According to sources, this person’s name was Khal Mohammad Bai and he killed after a verbal fight on the ground with a person named Ahmad Rayees, a member of the Taliban group in Jawzjan province.

Sources state that Khal Mohammad died under the torture of Ahmed Rais’s children.

The killed person was around 50 years old and was one of the local elders.

The Taliban group has not said anything about these claims.

Taliban fighters have already punished civilians in field courts.

Not long ago, the fighters of this group in Faryab province beheaded a Quran reciter in front of his family members.
