A member of the Taliban kidnapped a young girl in Badghis

RASC News Agency: According to local sources from Badghis Province on January 30th, a young girl was recently abducted by a member of the Taliban group. The incident took place in the “Qads Khordak” area of the Qads district. The perpetrator, identified as “Mohammed,” is a resident of Shahrak district in Ghor. The Taliban group in Badghis confirmed the incident’s occurrence and revealed that Mohammed is a soldier of their security command in the Qads district.

The Taliban’s violent and arbitrary behavior towards citizens, particularly women and girls, is not new. They have previously employed repressive measures against young women and girls on multiple occasions. Despite claiming to prevent moral corruption in society, the group has engaged in immoral acts themselves. In recent months, they have publicly punished individuals accused of extramarital relationships. Despite facing allegations of moral corruption, members of the Taliban have been released without any form of trial.

This incident serves as another example of the Taliban’s disregard for the well-being and rights of individuals, especially women and girls. It highlights the hypocrisy of their claims to uphold moral values while engaging in immoral acts themselves. The abduction of this young girl is a grave violation of her rights and further emphasizes the urgent need for measures to protect the vulnerable population from the Taliban’s oppressive actions.
