RASC: Informed sources report that three fire rockets hit parts of Kabul International Airport.

A reliable source told the media that these rockets were fired from an unknown location around 6:00 AM on Friday, May 5 and landed on parts of “VIP”, passenger section and control section of Kabul Airport.

According to the source, following this incident, at least three administrative and technical employees of the airport and several passengers were injured.

He clarified: “They did not allow anyone to take photos and videos so that it would not be published in the media. The wounded have been transferred to an unknown hospital.”
The Taliban group has not said anything about this incident.

So far, no individual or group has claimed responsibility for this attack.

This attack is carried out while Amir Khan Motaghi, the foreign minister of the Taliban group, was supposed to go to Islamabad at that moment.

He has recently been allowed by the United Nations to meet the foreign ministers of Pakistan and China.
