The Taliban killed a military officer of the former government in Nuristan

 RASC: Local sources in Nuristan province tell Rask that the Taliban killed a former army commando officer in Wama city of this province at noon on Sunday, May 1.

According to the sources, this former military was named Muhammad Jafar and had survived several attacks by the Taliban during the republic. According to the sources, this officer was shot by the Taliban on Sunday afternoon.

Since the Taliban took control of Afghanistan, this group has been identifying former army soldiers and then arresting, torturing and killing them.
