RASC News Agency: Sources from Balkh province report that 125 couples have held mass weddings in this province.

According to sources, this ceremony was held on Thursday, September 28 in the city of Mazar-e-Sharif, the center of Balkh province.

The sources added that this ceremony was held in order to avoid excessive and backbreaking expenses in weddings.

The organizers of this event said that five million common currency of the country was spent in the country to hold this wedding, which was paid by “Hasania Darul Uloom”.

Zahra Amiri, the head of this Darul Uloom, told the media that about 40,000 common currency was spent for each couple in the in this ceremony.

This is despite the fact that in the traditional society of Afghanistan, the cost of wedding ceremonies is exorbitant and many young people are unable to pay for wedding ceremonies due to poverty and unemployment.

Meanwhile, in recent years, in different parts of the country, charitable institutions have organized and promoted such ceremonies in order to prevent expensive ceremonies.

It should be noted that previously in some provinces of the country, ceremonies were held with the support of charitable organizations in order to prevent excessive expenses.

Before this, reports were published and indicated the underage forced marriage of the Afghanistani girl in the country under the domination of the Taliban group.

People in the Afghanistan had to sell their underage girls to provide from starving, on the other hand, many young girls and boys don’t have the ability to celebrate their weeding parties.
