RASC News Agency: The leader of the National Resistance Front of Afghanistan has reaffirmed that nations must shape their own destinies, as no foreign power will ever build the future they aspire to. In a recent statement, Ahmad Massoud, leader of the National Resistance Front, warned against placing hope in external forces to rebuild Afghanistan, calling it a strategic miscalculation. He stressed that instead of seeking assistance from the East or the West or relying on distant or neighboring nations Afghanistan’s people must first put their faith in God and then in their own resilience and capabilities. On Thursday, February 6, in a message posted on his X account, Massoud emphasized that unwavering faith and national solidarity are the only paths to overcoming adversity.
“Honor and dignity are earned through struggle and resistance,” he declared. “No nation has ever attained greatness through dependency. Those who wait for foreign powers to grant them peace and prosperity will be left disappointed.” Massoud further underscored the importance of unity and collective resilience, asserting that no challenge is insurmountable when people stand together. He reiterated that placing undue reliance on foreign powers whether from the East or the West is an illusion, emphasizing that true progress can only be achieved through faith in God, national unity, and self-reliance. The Resistance Front leader has long maintained that the Afghanistani people must not await foreign intervention but must instead harness their own strength and solidarity to overcome their struggles.
Massoud has repeatedly called for unity and perseverance, advocating for an unwavering and sustained resistance against the Taliban regime. Under his leadership, the National Resistance Front has waged a relentless three-year battle against the Taliban, inflicting heavy casualties on the militant group and standing as the last stronghold against their oppressive rule.
