RASC News Agency: The National Resistance Front of Afghanistan has issued a statement claiming responsibility for a targeted operation against the Taliban’s Ministry of Interior, asserting that the assault resulted in the deaths of 10 Taliban fighters and left five others injured. In contrast, Khalid Zadran, the Taliban’s spokesperson for the Kabul police, had earlier reported that four individuals sustained injuries in the incident. According to the Resistance Front’s announcement on Saturday, December 28, the operation was carried out at 9:30 a.m. and targeted the Taliban’s Ministry of Interior compound located along Airport Road.

The statement further revealed that a senior Taliban commander was among those killed. The statement elaborated that the attack was launched on a security checkpoint within the Ministry of Interior’s premises. It confirmed the elimination of 10 Taliban members, including the commander of the third battalion assigned to the ministry’s security division. Moreover, it reported the destruction of three Taliban military vehicles during the operation.

Last week, the Resistance Front released a report claiming to have executed nearly 25 operations against the Taliban within the past month, underscoring its sustained and escalating campaign against the regime.
