RASC News Agency: Local sources in Ghazni province have reported the tragic discovery of a young man’s body hanging in Jaghori district. According to these sources, the 20-year-old victim was found suspended at a poultry farm. The deceased, identified as Sahil, was a resident of Siyah Zamin village in Jaghori and had been employed at the poultry farm where his body was discovered.
Sources revealed that Sahil went missing on Wednesday, November 27, and was unreachable as his phone was switched off. Following a search by his family, his lifeless, hanging body was found at the farm later that day. The exact circumstances of his death remain shrouded in mystery. However, initial reports suggest that it might be a case of suicide. A source indicated that the Taliban’s criminal investigation unit in Jaghori conducted an examination of the body before granting permission for its burial. It has also been reported that the owner of the poultry farm has been detained for questioning in connection with the incident.
Despite the severity of the case, Taliban officials in Ghazni have not provided any statements or clarifications regarding the young man’s death. This tragedy follows a similar incident in Jaghori, where the body of a female nurse was previously found hanging. Over the past three years, a troubling increase in reports of murder and suicide has been observed across Afghanistan.
