RASC News Agency: The U.S. President Donald Trump has once again criticized the Biden administration’s policies on Afghanistan, condemning its approach to humanitarian aid and accusing it of emboldening the Taliban. Speaking at a joint press conference with the Israeli Prime Minister on Monday, Trump stated that the Biden administration’s decisions not only brought shame upon the United States but also resulted in the transfer of billions of dollars to the Taliban regime. Trump reflected on his own administration’s record of foreign assistance, asserting that while the United States has historically supported numerous nations, the unprecedented aid channeled to Afghanistan under Biden significantly empowered the Taliban, transforming it into a threat on the global stage.

“We have supported many countries,” Trump remarked. “But the vast sums sent to Afghanistan under Biden, not me are staggering. His disgraceful withdrawal humiliated the United States, and billions of dollars ended up in the hands of the Taliban.” He continued, “America must support its allies, not enrich its enemies. Biden’s misguided policies have allowed the Taliban to exploit U.S. aid and tighten their grip on power in Afghanistan.” He went on to underscore that U.S. priorities should be firmly aligned with its friends and allies, not adversaries like the Taliban, who rose to power amid the disorderly American withdrawal. Trump’s remarks come as the Biden administration’s decisions on humanitarian aid to Afghanistan continue to stir intense criticism both domestically and internationally.

Trump has previously advocated for cutting portions of U.S. economic aid to Afghanistan a position he maintains in direct opposition to Biden’s approach. The suspension of such assistance, particularly amid Afghanistan’s deepening humanitarian and economic crises, has had severe repercussions for the Afghanistani population.
