RASC News Agency: The Afghanistan Freedom Front has claimed responsibility for killing five Taliban fighters in separate attacks in Kabul and Kunduz. According to a statement released by the Freedom Front, its forces targeted a Taliban outpost in the 17th security district of Kabul on the evening of Friday, October 4. The statement reports that three Taliban members were killed and two others wounded in this assault.
Furthermore, the Freedom Front claims that its forces launched an attack on Taliban positions in the Imam Sahib district of Kunduz on the same evening. The Front stated that its forces specifically targeted members of the Taliban’s intelligence network in the province. According to the claim, one additional Taliban fighter was injured in the attack. The statement emphasized, “None of the Freedom Front forces sustained any injuries in these operations.” The Taliban have yet to comment on the incidents.
It is worth noting that the Afghanistan Freedom Front frequently takes responsibility for similar attacks across various parts of the country. The Freedom Front is considered one of the most prominent anti-Taliban factions in Afghanistan. Following the National Resistance Front, it has carried out the most attacks against Taliban forces. Three years ago, the Taliban took control of Afghanistan from the U.S. and the Republic led by Ghani. However, only a few groups dared to launch armed opposition against them. Despite these challenging circumstances, the Freedom Front and the Resistance Front have persisted in their struggle against the Taliban.
